#job: Ph.D. and Post Doctoral Fellow positions on Climate, Land, Energy and Water systems modelling

Hi All,

My research group has two open research positions in my Delta-E+ research group here at SFU, one for a Ph.D. student and one for a Post Doctoral Fellow.  Details can be found on the Opportunities page of my groups website (www.sfu.ca/see/delta-e).

The research will bring together land use expertise from the University of British Columbia, Stakeholder engagement expertise from Carleton University together with Energy Systems Modelling and Indigenous engagement expertise at Simon Fraser University together to build a Climate, Land, Energy and Water systems model for Canada to assess paths to decarbonization including hydrogen, biofuels, ccs, etc.  We employ open modelling tools and the project funding has a specific open modelling requirement, so all project outputs will be shared with an open license.

Review of applications for both positions will begin on Dec 15th and will continue on a rolling basis after that until the positions are filled.
