Hello all
Does anyone have access to an institutional Zoom account suitable for holding an openmod‑sponsored webinar on the overlap, if any, between systems modeling and ethics?
In about 4–8 weeks time. I guess the maximum specs could be two hours and 200 participants. Participant screening would not be required by the Zoom provider — instead the URL and related Zoom details would be circulated via a private posting on the openmod forum visible only to registered users. A Zoom account with a 1000 participant limit might be preferable to one with a 300 participant limit.
The reason for making openmod forum registration effectively a
requirement is that the presenter has specifically requested
community engagement and dialog — so this event is not intended to
constitute outreach.
More specifically and provisionally:
My personal Zoom Pro Annual account is limited to 100 attendees.
Advice and suggestions gratefully received. More shortly too on
the details as planning proceeds.
TIA, Robbie

Hello all
A follow up on Zoom accounts. First, my thanks to staff at Carnegie Mellon University and Dublin City University who offered their institutional accounts.
Second, I opted instead for a "Large Meeting" add‑on for 500‑seats for one month (€55 one‑off) on top of my basic paid 100‑seat Zoom account (€113 annually). This product could be quite useful for others on this list in similar circumstances? More here:
And a screenshot for orientation:
And more on the associated webinar very
shortly, I hope.
with best wishes, Robbie
