Linear source solver convergence problem

Good afternoon, dear developers.

Faced with the following problem.
When solving diffirent tasks, I periodically get problems with the convergence of the linear source solver. At the same time, a regular CPU solver converges without problems. I use the cross-sections obtained using OpenMC. Can you tell me what the problem might be? What does the convergence of a linear source solver depend on?

Dr Gunow in his thesis covers instabilities from transport correction, then implemented three stabilization methods you can use here. You should be able to turn them on from either Python or C++ inputs?

Are you using CMFD? Or just MOC?

Does the solver report on negative sources or on regions will ill-conditioned moment matrices?
