Hello, developer. I want to use the OpenMOC program to build a quarter-scale 3D high-leakage system fast reactor. Can I directly construct the 3D geometry now? Or it may still only be simplified (treated as a combination of two or more 2D sections, etc.)?                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Best,                                                                                                                                                          绚辻词

Hello

As long as:
- the lattice is rectangular not hexagonal
- the geometry is axially extruded
you can build the geometry in OpenMOC by forming a 2D geometry and extruding it.

There is possibly a version of OpenMOC in China that supports hex lattice, but the capability has not been contributed back.
I think you can contact the authors of this paper, they would know

Best,
Guillaume
