Android Platform is now fully supported on OpenMobster. You should be
able to:

* Build end-to-end Android Sync Apps. All sync modes such as two-way
sync, one-way-server sync, one-way-device-sync, and boot sync (an
innovation over slowsync) are supported.

* Integrate Push capabilities in your Android Apps.

* Quickly develop Android Apps using the Mobile MVC Framework. This
MVC Framework seamlessly integrates with the Sync and Push services.

2.0-M4 is fully feature complete. OpenMobster follows the agile
milestone based release system. From the other Alpha, Beta, Release
Candidate(CR or RC), General Availability (GA) standpoint here how it
should break down:

2.0-M4 = Beta

2.0-M5 = Release Candidate

2.0 = General Availability (GA).

Some development priorities going forward:

2.0-M5 = load testing, component upgrades, and actual device testing

2.2-M1 = iPhone/iOS support, GWT based Management Console

Some experimentation:

Trying to develop a widget framework for developing apps with HTML,
CSS, and Javascript. Not to be confused with libraries like PhoneGap,
Appcelerator, etc.

The framework would be used to develop HTML5 apps on top of GWT as the
low-level framework. So most likely the developer would develop the
client side code in Java as the programming language and GWT would
handle the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript side of things.....Ok so the
developer will dabble a bit in html, css, etc..The world is not
perfect but you get the point ;)

This is still in my head and will crystallize over the next few
months...Track this under
