To download the CalcZAF source code (minus some 3rd party components), use this link here:

http://probesoftware.com/download/CALCZAF_SOURCE-E2.ZIP

This topic/post will be "stickyed" by Hendrix so it is easily and always available and I will update the zip file on my end when it needs to be updated and possibly I will even post the latest changes to the CalcZAF Open Source Code topic here:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/openmicroanalysis/developers/j7PjyT4Y_LM

As always all changes are noted in the version.txt file here:

http://probesoftware.com/smf/index.php?topic=40.msg138#msg138

Note that most of the changes in CalcZAF now, are merely converting the Graphics server graphics calls to pro Essentials graphics calls, and some tweaking of the Reed fluorescence correction relative line weights.

And eventually porting the entire code base to .Net!

I note that the last sync was 17 days ago.  I know I've updated source modules since then.

How often does it check for a new zip file?

John,

Thank you for noticing this. Updates are checked every day, but I just saw that there is a problem because of the size of PENEPMA12.zip. It is now over the size limit for a single file (100Mb) of GitHub. I will investigate further this weekend.

Seems to be working again. I removed the penepma12.zip file

Hi Pat,

I test it with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 running in windows XP (using virtualbox), some components are missing to compile it. But I can look at the code. I think the new version have less missing components, but I need to test it again.

Calczaf is being converted to vb.net, but currently compiles under vb6. Hendrix is correct, calczaf utilizes a graphics library (gigasoft) and a tcp/ip library (catalyst) that cannot be distributed for code design.

If you have the pro essentials graphics license or the socket tools license, you could in principle build calczaf, but there are also some numerical recipes codes that are missing due to the terms of the NR license.
