Hi Sebastian,

I succeed to activate the SVG Export functionality and invoke the Servlet with some URLs.

As you said before, it is possible to extract a single page only on demand.
In my implementation, I succeed to extract more than a single page of the same PDF but for the moment I have xxxx number of single pages that flood the server on my hdd. (never delete the single page after extract)

So, I'll try now to get multi slide of a PDF , extract theses images of PDF and include in SVG in order to have A SINGLE PDF after the export (with some slides).

Is it possible to get the total number of pages of a PDF file ?

Thanks

Guillaume

Guillaume,

it is a little bit confusing, the PDF export does already exist. There is nothing to do on that side if you would like just to export the screenshot of the current whiteboard.

Generating a HOLE PDF out of images makes zero sense from my point of view. Just think about it, you have a PDF with 300 pages, you generate an image for each slide, and then make a pdf out of 300 images (each image has around 2-3 MB) so you have a 1GB PDF image-slideshow then. Do you really think this is what you will want then? I would stick to the single page PDF then.

Everyting else would only make sense if you really generate *raw* PDF, like a PDF Writer does it. And htat project would mean you need 3-4 developers and 6 months to realize it. Or you buy some expensive commercial Server Side PDF decrypter/encrypter software.

Right Sebastian, I know that the PDF export already exist and I used this.
I just implement the swf method which missing in WhiteboardMapSVG.

I thought that it would be interesting to edit some pages of PDF file and export the result PDF.
That's all it was a suggestion about this functionnality.

But as you said before with your example,it seems to be very difficult.

Otherwise, i have noticed something with the export of hand drawing in whiteboard.

For example, i begin a draw (graphtype : paint) on the whiteboard and I want to export this drawing on a Pdf file.
In this PDF file, the drawing is well displayed but the render (hand drawing objects) are shifted in the top left of the file.

This problem is not visible with the Uline or line for example.

Have you seen this problem before?

Thanks
