the XML Files are imported during the install process.
At runtime you have to use the Language-Editor.
The debug version prints the labelid additionally to the text in the
GUI ... as you might already found out too.

I see also that the labelid stops at 1303 in Adminstration > LanguageEditor. (version 1.7)

I think that I'll go to IMPORT my own french.xml in order to consider the new label id if it's possible ?
