Dear group, dear developers,

i happily set up OM 0.5.1 on Debian Linux (testing). Everything is
working like charm. Just screen sharing doesn't work. The only thing
i get, when clicking on this (regardless of client os) is a an empty
jnlp file "public_3.jnlp".

A bugreport has already been filed by another user some days ago. I
added my information. I am sorry, that the debugging features are not
throwing any errors when clicking on screen sharing and receiving this
empty file. I had several looks into the files in the /screen
directory. However, i am new to this app, so i don't really understand
how (and if) the template "screencast.jnlp" is rendered to the server
specific jnlp file, means, where to start tracing..

I somewhat feel, that probably choosing Red5 0.7.0 instead of the
older version mentioned in the manuals could be related to this
problem. Maybe i should try the older Red5 server?

bugreport:

I am honestly interested in helping everybody solving this somewhat
strange issue. So if you need further information - please, just drop
me a line! :-)

Thank you very much for this intriguing piece of software!!

Hello Sebastian,

first of all thank you for your fast and kind response!

As recommended using Red5 0.6.3 fixes this issue and gives you the
best screen sharing experience.

Thank you and all the other developers so much for this outstanding
software!
