you should read the wiki-docs in the chapter about installation, all
information is basically written down there.
For the second question I cannot really give an answer as I do not
understand the question. If you could provide some sample screen we
might be able to understand it.

a client just needs a headset/microphone and the hardware should be
lets say minimum 600 MHz and 64 MB RAM. An up to date flash player
(and a Sun Java Runtime to run the screensharing).
