Effect size and variance

Hello,

I'm a student currently in the last year of my bachelor's zoology degree and am doing a meta-analysis to investigate whether climate change causes higher rates of hybridisation. I have never used the OpenMee software before so I tried to do a sample meta-analysis to get to grips with the program and have gotten stuck. I followed all the steps on the OpenMee website correctly, I think, but it won't let me process the effect size or variance. I'll be the first to admit that stats are not my strong suit so this may be something very simple I'm doing wrong. I've included the table I've been working on as a reference to see if any of you could help me out.  Do I need another column that says total population next to the column with the number of hybrids observed? Is that how the effect and variance are calculated?
