Version 0.9.0 release planning

Hello devs,

It's been eight months since our last release so I'd like to get a new one out within the next few weeks. Please let me know if you are planning on submitting a PR with a feature/bug fix/etc that you'd like to get into this next release. Or, better yet, create an issue on github (if one doesn't exist already) and tag it to the v0.9 milestone.

There have been a lot of really cool improvements since the last release, so I'm excited to get a new one out. Thanks to all for your contributions!
