Hi Team,
I am using the method - "isSegmentNearPoly" but I a confused with the value of r in 'radians'.
I am considering this 'r' as thickness of the line segment.
How to convert kilometres to radians?
Why is this method taking value in radians?

Hi Nishtha,

That r is the distance definition the calculation uses to define ’near’. It’s not a thickness of the segment. It’s how close the segment needs to be to the polygon to consider the condition is met.

That value is in radians as a generic unit of measurement. You can use the com.bbn.opennap.proj.Length enum to convert between different units of distance and radians.

Hope this helps,

Don
