Using Weather maps 1.0 in OpenMap

Dear OpenMap users and team,

I am trying to use  Weather maps 1.0  (https://openweathermap.org/api/weathermaps) in MapTileLayer using this rootDir:

https://tile.openweathermap.org/map/{clouds_new}/{z}/{x}/{y}.png?appid={API key}

Nothing on map.

API key is good, works in browser. 

No any error messages in logging mode FINE.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ru,

I think there is a problem with the code making a connection to ssl sites (https). I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet and get that working. I’ll take another look over the weekend.

Problem solved. My fault. Braces around API key superfluous (as was in example on their web page). Weather layers from Open Weather Map work fine. Sorry, Don, for unnecessary worry :)
