Summer is not over yet! We've got TechFestival coming up in Copenhagen this week, and we hope you can join us in person or even remotely!
At our Internet of Production Summit with the support of the Shuttleworth Foundation and facilitated by Uncompromise, we're gathering humans to ask:
"given the technologies of today we have available today, what would product design and manufacturing look like if we started from scratch?"
The Summit taking place on Friday Sept 6th will be a collaborative experience, where we'll explore what it will take to connect the technologies of smart manufacturing with the creative capacity of people.
It's pretty unbelievable that we'll also get to meet initiatives on Wikifactory at TechFestival too!
Growstack is organizing the Foodtech Summit about emerging food technologies on Thursday Sept 5th. The goal is establish the Internet of Food - An open-source web of food technologies applicable worldwide!
- Our co-founder, Christina Rebel is speaking with Thr34d5 at the Opening Open Source event for a conversation on how we, the designer, maker and tech community, can open up not only our work and spaces but build a methodology for co-design, democratic access and citizen activism.
DDMP and Underbroen will also be co-hosting The Responsible Design Futures with an exhibition throughout the TechFestival as a physical manifestation of distributed and responsible design!
If in the last minute spree you'd be able to come, we'll save a free TechFestival wristband for you!
We understand that Copenhagen might a way away though, so we're going to do our best to make it possible for you to participate through live streaming and chat. Read up on our Story, as we'll be sure to share the link there and on social media!
TechFestival, here we come! Hope you can join us.
