Anyone take a look at http://blog.reprap.org/2010/02/mini-me.html
yet? It was just posted up today. MakerBot 2.0 potential? With it's
size, I'm certain it could be made of laser cut plywood, and with some
slight modifications, be able to print 150x150.

Immediate impressions:
The limiting factor in Reprap is the printed parts. People have to
*hunt* for printed parts.
The mini-mendel can be printed in 30% of the time of a full mendel.
The mini-mendel can *make* parts for a full mendel.
Once you've made your full mendel using your mini-mendel, the parts
for the mini could be given to someone else to make another full
Mendel, and another.
These things are shuttles for mendels! Mendel-spores!
I already have one guy in Cork asking me for Mendel parts. I'd love to
give him one for free, but 90 hours is so long! At 30 hours, I'd be
glad to give it away and see another printer in Cork.
I hope they rethink supporting this thing officially, it's brilliant!
