How to properly upgrade

to OpenLiteSpeed Development

I have installed OpenLiteSpeed Wordpress on Vultr from their marketplace and would like to know how to properly upgrade the server including the OS and installed apps. In the documentation there is a recommended upgrade for OpenLightSpeed, but does it do everything f just OpenLightSpeed?

Hi,

If you want to update all packages on the system, use apt update && apt upgrade -y command. And follow https://documentation.ubuntu.com/server/how-to/software/upgrade-your-release/index.html#upgrade-the-system to upgrade the OS/system if needed.

I did this on a test box the other day and it did not go well! It looked like config files had been customized and were not supported via the package manger any longer. I will try it again and see what happens.
