And also can you send me your server conf file?
Thanks.

Hi,

It is likely a disk space or file permission problem with the compression cache directory.

By default, it is under /tmp/lshttpd/swap if not changed. Please check if /tmp is full, or directory permission is wrong.

Best regards,

George Wang

I noticed an interesting thing.

If I use both Gzip and Brotli to compress static content, it will complain.

A temporary solution:
Gzip compress static content
Brotli Compress dynamic content

It's nice to have your response!
Thanks

I'm also seeing bunch of [ERROR] Compress with both Brotli and Gzip turned off in my error.logs.
Shouldn't be an issue with tmp being full or wrong permissions, as I wasn't getting any errors before and there is plenty of space left.
Debug log attached if that's of any use to identify what might be the issue.

Unrelated to this error, but wanted to mention that when trying to build OLS with --enable-brotli=yes, I get the following error:

Brotli start to build ...
checking for /tmc/openlitespeed-1.4.34/brotli-master/out/libbrotlidec-static.a.                                                               .. no
checking for /tmc/openlitespeed-1.4.34/brotli-master/c/include/brotli/decode.h.                                                               .. no
Brotli built failed. If continue, brotli compression will be disabled.
Not sure if that's working as intended tho.
