Node.Js application not working as soon as I connect to Mongoose.

I have a working Node.Js website that servers assets, that is untill I require the mongoose package. I know the error comes from there as I have tried with all other constants. Can someone tell me how to fix it or how to retain the console.logs and error logs of the node website so that I can try debugging.
