Hi, OpenLeb,

Thanks to all the subscribers. We now have about 20 members in this group. It would be great to get to know what kinds of open data projects or interests people have.

For our part at SMEX, we're working on a dataset of the laws affecting digital rights across the Arab region. We'll be launching the first iteration of a simple search tool soon and would love to get some feedback.

Meanwhile, is anyone familiar with Open MENA. I just discovered their site today.

Also, a small request: If anyone has access to data journalism materials in Arabic, it would be great if you could share them. We're compiling a resource list for our upcoming digital journalism course, which includes a module on data journalism.
