Hey,

I got inspired early this morning, joined the group, then went out and
purchased my Kinect. My first thought was to adapt an existing art
project of mine to this amazing sensor. Thanks to you all, even the
Python bindings worked beautifully out of the box and fit right into
my existing (mostly OpenCV, Cairo & Panda3D) codebase.

Previously, I was using a bright background and thresholding a
luminosity image to determine when people blocked the projector. The
Kinect let me threshold the depth image, which improved the
reliability of this system immeasurably.

I can't begin to express my gratitude for how easy it was to fetch
data from this sensor. Thank you all for all the work you've already
committed to this project! I look forward to contributing back to
this project, especially in the area of python bindings. In the
meantime, I hope you enjoy my video!

Nice job. Which python bindings are you using?

Cheers
