Dear KIM Community,

The KIM Team has decided to change the technical details of how we make Model
Driver and Model content available for download on openkim.org. We believe
most users will be unaffected by this change.

Currently there are three places you can download a tar archive of a Model:

(1) The Model's "Model page" (e.g.,
https://openkim.org/id/EDIP_BelkoGusakovDorozhkin_2010_Ge__MO_129433059219_001#files)

(2) The individual archives directory (e.g.,
https://s3.openkim.org/archives/models/MO_129433059219_001/)

(3) The collection archives directory (i.e.,
https://s3.openkim.org/archives/collection/) where a single tar archive of
all openkim.org model drivers and models can be obtained.


It has been decided that the individual archives directories (2) have outlived
their original purpose and, thus effective immediately, they will be
discontinued.

The "Model page" and "collection archives" will continue to be available for
downloading content.


Please let us know if you have any questions or if this negatively impacts your
use of the KIM system.
