Hello,

I'm a new user to Openjpeg and image processing.

I'm using Adobe XMP toolkit to add XMP into the compressed jp2 image and I'm unable to do so.

While checking the source code of Adobe XMP toolkit they support only .jpx image extension.

I would like to know whether it is possible to add XMP data to the compressed jp2 image since the standardized filename extension is .jp2 for ISO/IEC 15444-1 conforming files and .jpx for the extended part-2 specifications, published as ISO/IEC 15444-2.

Or if not I would like to know whether Openjpeg converts image to .jpx extension.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Elisha

Hi Elisha,

Unfortunately, OpenJPEG does not support part 2 jpx file format, only jp2 part 1 is supported.

Cheers,
Aaron
