Hello Experts,

I saw there is a Java based viewer in the library, but is there a Java
based server implementation available? If not then, is there any
other, like I know about CADI.

Any help, suggestions are most welcome!

Thanks,
Vicky

Hello Vicky,

No, our JPIP server is implemented only in C.
We used java for jpip client viewer to facilitate coding networking and
GUI features.
I do not know any java based JPIP servers.

Kaori

Hello Vicky and Kaori,

The CADI Software includes a JPIP Server, JPIP Proxy, and a JPIP
Client (GUI). The code is in Java under the GPL licence (http://
sourceforge.net/projects/cadi/).

Lino

Hello Eric,

Firstly, I'm sorry for the delay.

Regarding your question about getting support on CADI, I can say that we try to solve all bugs and problems on the application send us.

The CADI application is developed in the framework of the research carried out in our group and, as we have new features and functionalities implemented, they are released. Since the main objective of the group is research and we try fix all the problems/bugs, frankly, sometimes we can not guarantee deadlines to solve some bugs as a private company could do.

However, any questions you have about the usage or the code, do not hesitate to write me.

Regards,
  Lino
