Hey folks,
Sorry about the radio silence here -- had a hectic travel schedule this summer. I was recently in Bangkok to speak at the FIRST summit on OpenIOC, and then this was followed with some vacation time.
Just wanted to drop a line for folks who will be at Black Hat in the US in a few weeks -- Will Gibb is going to presenting in the Black Hat Arsenal Thursday Morning on the IOC Writer Python library that he has created to use in making IOC creation and manipulation easier, and I will be onsite to discuss all things OpenIOC related during the conference.
I'm taking a bunch of meetings during the course of the conference, but if anyone wants to catch up at either Black Hat or DefCon, drop me a line.
After the conference, we'll be putting the IOC Writer stuff online, along with a draft of what we are considering for OpenIOC 1.1. It's not a major revision, but it does ease a bunch of pain points and add in some requested features we've had from folks over the past year and a half.
Hope to see you at Black Hat, and looking forward to comments and feedback on the new draft when we put it online. I'll definitely be hitting this group up for feedback.
Thanks!
