Hey folks, sorry I have been so delinquent in moderation duties. I've just added a bunch of folks who were pending to the group. I've been doing a lot of traveling and double-duty in light of the acquisition of Mandiant by FireEye.
There have been some questions about what this acquisition might mean for the future of OpenIOC -- the short answer is that nothing should change, other than resources available for support of OpenIOC will possibly increase!
In the discussions that I have had, FireEye management are committed to keeping future developments in the project open source, and hopefully will give us more time or resources to dedicate to advancing the standard.
I know that several of you have expressed concerns in private to me, I hope that this allays your fears, and I hope that we can do some really cool stuff in the upcoming year.
Thanks for bearing with.
Doug
