New issue 326 by emaadman...@gmail.com: Simulator Settings application
crashes after pushing connect
http://code.google.com/p/openintents/issues/detail?id=326

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the simulator settings application on your emulator
2. Enter your IP address.
3. Move to the Testing tab and push connect.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Sensor simulator data on the emulator.
Seen Instead: The application crashes, and the main menu appears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Sensor Simulator: 1.1.0-rc1
Emulator running Android 2.1 (Google APIs)

Please provide any additional information below.

This issue is probably specific for certain local networks; I'm behind a
university campus LAN.

This has already been mentioned in the comments, but I thought it needs to
be in an easier place to find.

Fix: Instead of entering your computers LAN IP address, use 10.0.2.2 (the
loopback address to your machine from the emulator)

Suggestion: Would this work for all networks? Then we could do away with
the tab involving users to manually enter their IP address.
