New issue 550 by
nfs...@gmail.com: Moving data from emulated storage to
real sdcard doesn't work.
http://code.google.com/p/openintents/issues/detail?id=550
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to move (cut-->paste) any file or folder from emulated storage
to real sdcard.
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
One expects the files/folders to be moved successfully. But it isn't
successful. Instead the toast notification "Some or all items cannot be
moved" is displayed.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I tried both OI-FileManager 2.2 and 2.3rc1. Both have the above said issue.
I have used both Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 stable and 10.1.3rc1 . I cannot
reproduce the issue on other closed-source file managers.
Please provide any additional information below.
I have a device (LG-P760) with /data/media/0 emulated as
/storage/emulated/0 . It is the internal storage (emulated-storage) on the
device. The device also supports micro-sd (real-sdcard) card mounted at
/storage/sdcard1. Now moving something from emulated storage to real sdcard
doesn't work with OI-FileManager. It gives the toast error message "Some or
all items cannot be moved".
And copying something from emulated storage to real sdcard is fine.
And deleting something from emulated storage is fine.
Attaching the logcat if it helps..
