"I'm having a problem trying to use the OI file manager as a file chooser
for another application, specifically when the file manager activity comes
up, the on screen keyboard is showing for entry into the filename edit
text. It's necessary to manually dismiss the keyboard to have a reasonable
amount of screen real estate for browsing.

I experience this problem on an HTC Flyer running Android 3.2.1 (and HTC
sense 1.1) using not only my app, but also if I use it to pick a file on
behalf of OI Notepad.

On an older device running a customized gingerbread, it works as expected -
no keyboard showing.

I've tested both the current version 1.2 OI File Manager off of Market, and
also the older 1.14 version which i was able to copy over from the
gingerbread device - on the Android 3.2.1 Flyer both show the keyboard."

I have this issue on both phones I'm using to test with. Galaxy nexus and
SG2. Using the version of OI from the play store.

I think it is better if OI File Manager allows the programmer to choose
whether or not the virtual keyboard will be shown or not. The default
behavior seems to show the keyboard in some devices and hide in others.

Allowing the programmer to explicitly choose the behavior adds flexibility
and does not change the default behavior that might be good in some
circumstances.
