Good afternoon,
I hope this message finds you well. Catholic arts apostolate Arthouse2B is very happy to be hosting our third annual artist retreat this Spring. We would love to invite you and members of your community to attend. I've included the information below, along with the flyer and registration link. Would you please include this information in your upcoming bulletins and email blasts, and share the flyer (attached) with artists you know?
Thank you for your support of Arthouse2B and its mission.
Please find more details about the retreat below:
St. John Paul II once said that at the origin of all that exists, of all the created world, lies “not so much a great mind, as a great heart.” This Heart from which all of creation springs forth into being is the same source from which flows all that is Beautiful. This center of Beauty, this Heart of Beauty, is what anyone who has heard the summons to create, no matter what form that may take, has experienced — even if they couldn’t name it.
This year Arthouse2B continues the work of inviting artists to allow their hearts and lives to be renewed by coming to his spring — His Heart — and drinking deeply in prayer, community, and shared creativity of the Love of the Beautiful One who Himself calls not only artists, but all of humanity to “come to me!”
Jesus says, “come and rest” and “learn from me” — but what He wants us to learn can be found in His “meek and humble heart.” We invite you to join us in drawing near to the Heart of Beauty so that our hearts may be renewed and set aflame, allowing this love to break forth in our lives through the Beauty we are called to create and through the mysterious vocation of the artist.
Join us May 9-11th, 2025 at the Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ for our annual retreat for artists. Ticket price includes the cost of lodging and meals throughout the weekend. Please stay tuned for further details from the retreat team regarding suggestions for transportation to the retreat center, with options for carpool and/or public transportation.
This year our retreat speakers will include: Fr. Malachy Napier, CFR, Sr. Tirzah Mariae, S.V., Br. Damiano Pio, CFR, Fr. Samuel Bellafiore, Samantha D'Agostino and Fr. Isaac Spinharney, CFR!
Thank you so much! We hope you will join us.
Warmly,
Erin McAtee, Executive Director
Zoe Dongas, Assistant Director
