OpenXRI and Xalan 2.6.0 vs. Glassfish

An older thread that appears to be closed contains an issue related to
OpenXRI's dependency on an older version of Xalan (2.6.0). Here is the
thread for reference:

I am trying to deploy on Glassfish V2 which uses Xalan 2.7.0, which
appears to be causing problems for OpenXRI. Is there a known
workaround for this?

Not sure what the roadmap for the OpenXRI library is, but I've copied
William Tan here who might know.

Also, if you post some details about the issues between Xalan 2.7.0
and OpenXRI others may be able to help (also: try posting them on the
openxri list which I think lives here: http://mail.idcommons.net/
mailman/listinfo/openxri )
