How does this

OpenID 2.0 (Deprecated)

https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OpenID2 affects implementations using openID4Java and spring security ?

Will the existing implementations break?

Not sure about the current code, but code running SpringSecurity 3.1.3 does break on new hostname/port installs (existing usages are grandfathered in).

Yes, it is broken.  My question is if it is fixable.

No. You need to migrate your application to use OAuth 2.0 if you want to authenticate with Google.
