First interop event

Hi guys,

it now seems like we are going to have our first interop event in Brighton, UK, Thursday June 11 2020.

This event will not be coupled in anyway to the TNC20 which is taking place in Brighton that week.

So it’s up to you if you only want to partake in the interop event or if you want to be at TNC20 too.

Of course partaking of the interop event will mean that you miss one day of TNC20.

I will book a room for us somewhere in Brighton. I’ve started the process.

I will book the room for the whole day (which I guess means office time: 9-17).

I will also put up an OIDC federation aware RP and an OP on a cloud based machine somewhere.

Since whatever conference room we find, we will probably not be provided with real IP addresses, and if someone

wants to be in on the action, but can’t travel to Brighton, this is the only way we can give them the chance to do that.

Now, I really want to urge people to be there in person. The high bandwidth communication that can be done in a F2F meeting

can not happen in a VC.

We should use this mailing list to decide on what we want to do in Brighton.

And lastly, I’m going to be there the whole week so if people are arriving on Wednesday we could have dinner together and

go through the plans for Thursday.

Thanks Roland for organising this, I put a mark in my calendar for the 11th.

We'll also put up a fed aware OP that is publicly accessible. If we have time we'll also update our dev playground RP to support federation.
