Next steps in congressional openness: news from the bulk data task force

The Bulk Data Task Force met last week and there's lots of good news. Here's the link: http://congressionaldata.org/822/

Short version:

* The meetings are now webcast live, with public comment

* Technical conversations are taking place on GitHub

* THOMAS is being retired, but the data's almost entirely online in structured formats

* The House Rules and Manual's now online

* The Legislative Data & Transparency Conference is set for June 21.
