Hi everyone,
Inspired by the new
http://Data.gov site, Sunlight is calling all developers and designers to
enter its new contest, Apps for America 2: The Data.gov Challenge.
In collaboration and with financial support from Craig Newmark (founder of Craigslist and Sunlight Board Director), Google, O'Reilly Media and TechWeb, we are offering over $25,000 in prizes for creative apps that use
one or more of the data sources on this new open repository of
government information.
We're also encouraging contestants to use one of our open source libraries of government information or APIs, or those
of our partners, including the new MAPLight.org Congress API, the
OpenSecrets API or the FollowtheMoney.org API.
