Good news: House Appropriators OK modest COLA for H. Personal Office Staff

In heartening news, today House Appropriators okayed a 1.5% increase for Member Representational Accounts, the pool of funds that pay staff salaries (and many other things). While it's not a lot of money, it should give staff their first COLA in a long time.


I was particularly impressed by the comments by the members in favor of Rep. Farr's amendment.
