Post data from OpenMRS to openHIM

Hi everyone,
I would like to post data from openMRS 1.9.11 to openHim and i would like to know the best way to do that,
Is there any openMRS module to do that or we need to build our own openMRS module for that.

Hi Gilbert

Im unfortunately not aware of any OpenMRS to OpenHIM module that has been developed that can achieve this functionality. 

This does sound like something that could be of value to the bigger OpenMRS/OpenHIM community and something that could be re-used on other instances

Hi Gilbert,

There is related some work that is in process that may be of interest using the HL7 FHIR data model which is now supported with OpenMRS Sync 2.0.  The two things are:

• mADX - an IHE profile of the FHIR standards for aggregate reports/quality measures is getting finalized for publication  
• A draft IHE White Paper on using the CQL language to extract indicators from HL7 FHIR data sources (e.g. OpenMRS).  

Some tooling is currently being built to support this and I expect the mediators will make it into OpenHIM.  Hope this is helpful.
