FYI, the attached document is an initial draft of a Technical Architecture document, describing components and services being implemented in this project phase, including:

·        The Mondrian 3 OLAP server

·        The Interactive OLAP client (implemented in Adobe Flex)

·        OLAP Printer (executes MDX queries and returns results as HTML, PDF, Excel or Jasper Reports sub-report data set)

·        Chart Server

·        Jasper Report Server

·        Metadata Server

All questions and comment are welcome.  (There is a very limited testing instance running on http://t4biweb01.t4bi.com:8090/demo01, but it is meant primarily for in-house development and coordination ... there is no guarantee that this instance will be up and running, or provide any useful results).

Attached is a newer version of the document (v.03) - just clarifications and
URL syntax updates in the OLAP Printer section of the document.

Hello,
first of all, happy new year!

I was much busy in this last period and I followed OH project from far....sorry for this.
Anyway we are working on the possiblity to use mapfish client + geostat module as viewer for xactions resultsets directly in PentahoBI (GeoReport). No OLAP processes are managed because we want to deal with them separatly from GeoReport with a different module (GeOLAP) for which we are waiting for GeoMondrian and Spatialytics
They should be released at the end of February!

Spatialytics is a cartographic component based on OpenLayers which interfaces with GeoMondrian. It allows a seamless integration with other Javascript/AJAX based dashboard frameworks and enables drilling down and rolling up in the geospatial dimension.

For GeoReport we are using GeoServer and GeoJson, too.

A screenshots:

What are OH development about cartographic module? I read the document but I not found reference to mapfish, geoserver, OpenLayers, only reference to WMS and WFS but in which way they will develop?
Any demo to download or try?
Which is in brief the state of the art of GIS module?
Thanks and sorry if my questions are repetitive....

Thanks a lot, Fabio!

The page at University of Laval shows currently a message “GeoMondrian will be released soon ... Please, come back shortly.”; I understand that you will be monitoring the development and keep us posted, when more information becomes available.

Hello,
may be u just know the link but i want to underline it.
From mapfish blog (http://mapfishblog.blogspot.com/):
http://blog.thematicmapping.org/2008/12/thematic-mapping-engine-source-code-and.html

it is very interested!!!!!

I think it should be used for future development of GeOLAP module for GeoBI platform and for OH too :-)

Hello,

We know this link (Thematic Mapping Engine). It is very interesting and this is what we would like to do with Google.org. This is really great.

Hello,
we have some problems for our GeoReport module in using chloropleth map.....
We included as following:
<script type="text/javascript"
src="js/OpenMap/MapFish-1.0/client/mfbase/release/mapfish/MapFish.js"></script>

in our template html file in order to display a chloropleth map.

Now we have some troubles in using quantils and pop.Framecloud css:

for quantils:
bin.lowerBound.toFixed is not a function
hideDetails(Object nbVal=0 lowerBound=1 upperBound=1 isLast=false, 0,
5)MapFish.js (line 1318)
hideDetails(["1", "1", "1", 3 more...])MapFish.js (line 1321)
classifyByQuantils(5)MapFish.js (line 1326)
sturgesRule(2, 5, null)MapFish.js (line 1327)
draw()MapFish.js (line 1336)
draw(Object indicator=numero_watson method=2 numClasses=5)MapFish.js
(line 1335)
initComponent(false)MapFish.js (line 1347)
initComponent()MapFish.js (line 1341)
Observable()ext-all.js (line 12)
Observable()ext-all.js (line 12)
initComponent(Object id=1004 data=Object json=[2] store=Object
fields=[2], 1)ext-all.js (line 129)
initComponent(Object initialConfig=Object tpl=Object
singleSelect=true)ext-all.js (line 129)
Observable()ext-all.js (line 12)
Observable()ext-all.js (line 12)
initComponent(Object browserEvent=Event mouseout button=0
type=mouseout)ext-all.js (line 83)
EventManager(Object browserEvent=Event mouseout button=0
type=mouseout)ext-all.js (line 13)
getViewWidth(click clientX=0, clientY=0)ext-base.js (line 10)

function (bin, binIndex, nbBins) {
return bin.lowerBound.toFixed(3) + " - " + bin.upperBound.toFixed(3)
+ " (" + bin.nbVal + ")";
}

why ??

for framecloud:
is it the same using by OpenLayers? it seems not!

any suggest?

Thanks u
