Open Hamilton is a loose organization of citizens committed to collaboration to be awesome. We want to build an awesome city with awesome people by applying open principles to civic life.

 

We believe in powering our city with complete primary information and using that information to build applications that improve our city.

 

This Google Group is a forum for Hamilton's open data community. It exists for everyone - data producers, researchers, developers and citizens - to contribute and discussion open data, transparency, and innovation in the public, social and private sectors.

To be awesome, we believe in sharing and collaboration to create value from open data.

Community Norms

Simple, don't be a jerk. No ad hominem attacks, no language that wouldn't use in polite company, stay on topic (ie no spamming) and contribute. You can have disagreements, just don't be disagreeable.

 

In the event that a user is unable to participate within the bounds of the community norms, moderators will act to uphold community norms.
