Has anybody started on forecasts in OH2 yahoo weather binding?

And in this context: Can channels have config properties? As of the DTD, a thing definition's channel-type can have a config-description node. This would be the right place to put the forecast param on. Right?

Note that the Yahoo Weather binding is not in OH2, but in ESH. And as we use it as a „demo binding“ for the tutorial, we currently keep it rather simply - so the answer is: No, no support of forecasts in there.

There is actually also a problem with the Yahoo weather binding: The license of the service, see https://developer.yahoo.com/forum/Suggestions-for-YDN/Using-the-Weather-API-in-a/1257521972000-d658c7d6-e9eb-3959-9ed5-57b4d8699077/
For this reason, we might have to deliberately break or completely remove it from ESH…

So in general, I think it would be better to concentrate on Open Weather Map as a provider of weather information.

In theory yes, but as no one has used this yet, I would not count on it working smoothly already :-)
