What is the best existing binding or info to look at to develop a bridge with dynamic things?

We have a gateway that we use for CBus and Paradox via http/rest.
And I can add support for these two if I just know where to start.

First of all I would like the Paradox Alarm Panel, PGMs, Area and Zone to populate dynamically via channel descriptors, if I understand the architecture correctly.

Thanks

Hi Jan,

I am afraid, we do not have any reference binding with dynamically created channels in place yet.
I am not sure, which one will be the first trying this approach.

There might also still be some gaps in the architecture to cleanly support this way: I remember some discussions that it would be nice to define channel types statically in XML, while creating the thing types dynamically, but in this case you cannot reference the channel types...

I would suggest to follow up on this discussion, so we come to some good solution: https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1065857/

Best regards,
Kai

Thank you, will do that!
I'm sortoff getting into the OH2 way of doing "things".
But once there I'll join up the discussion.
The few existing OH2 bindings (And Eclipse SmartHome) are good enough for me at this stage.
