Hi all,

I have got a Raspberry PI 2.
The first what I did: Install openhab 2. ;-)

My expeirence:
  1. Installing the image: 2015-02-16-raspbian-wheezy.img and set up the system.
  2. openhab2 fetch from upstream at 25.2.2015 + PaperUI -> build
  3. copy to Raspberry
My first joy: openhab run directly. My MAX! cube has been discovered: Kai and his team has made a great job - thanks,

The startup of the full runtime installation need 51 seconds;  the minimal-runtime needs 38 seconds.
Memory is more than enough. full needs: 109M; min 88M
Until the startup the cpu was all time more the 50% idle.

I think, this is for a alpha release good values.

My result is: Raspberry PI 2 is a good hardware for openhab2 - I going to bring up my "smart home" on openhab2 and raspberry PI 2.

I hope this information is helpfull.

Regards
Stefan

Dear Stefan,

There are not many people who have done this so it is hard for me to do.
Could you explain more about this step?:

  2. openhab2 fetch from upstream at 25.2.2015 + PaperUI -> build

I'd appreciate it!
Thanks, John.
