Open IoT Challenge

Hi,

I’d just like to share information about the Open IoT Challenge (http://blog.benjamin-cabe.com/2015/01/08/open-iot-challenge-deadline-is-approaching-prize-pool-over-20k), which soon reaches its application deadline.

Applicants should use some products that use Eclipse technologies, so openHAB is a very good choice for this - if you are interested in participating, have a look and you can win nice prices!

I just had a look at this, and to add some details to this post.

• Application deadline is Jan 17th,
• If shortlisted, you have until Feb 27th to complete the project,
• Prizes are mostly a license of MicroEJ (www.is2t.com)... whatever that is and ARM dev boards
• $150 toward hardware for the project to the #1
• 1st prize $750, 2nd $500, 3rd $150
• The idea is to use open source projects and approach as well as document and blog about the project

If I understood all correctly :P
