Bind build with diferent version

Hi folks,

I hope this e-mail finds you well.

I made some changes into plcbus bind to work with 3-phase and it's working in my Eclipse environment, however I would like to move to production environment and my OpenHAB is running version 1.4 while my compilation generated a 1.5 version. I already moved the jar file to addon folder and didn't work. I would like to know, how can I make it work? can be a version problem? what is the best course of action in this case?

Hi Bruno,

if you have correctly compiled the jar under 1.5, it should work flawlessly on your 1.4 runtime instance as well, if being put in the addons folder.

To find out what is wrong, best start your runtime in debug mode and make sure you have enough debug logging in your new binding - this should give you a clue, why it is not starting correctly.
