Xtend 2.6.0 - Synchronized Expressions

While looking into my problems with concurrency, I've found out that Xtend actually supports a synchronised construct:

The trouble is, that it was introduced in Xtend 2.6, and it seems that the xtend included in openhab is version 2.3. Are there plans to upgrade or did I get the version wrong?

Hi Petr,

I doubt that openHAB 1.x runtime will be upgraded, but note that Eclipse SmartHome (and hence openHAB 2.x) is already on Xtend 2.6.2.
