Systemair/Villavent VR 700 DCV (Modbus) integration

Hi
I'm looking to integrate Systemair/Villavent VR 700 DCV ventilation unit into my OpenHab setup.
The unit works as a Modbus slave and communicates with MODBUS over serial line throug a two wire RS-485 connection.

Questions:
- Can I use the existing Modbus binding with this unit?
- What hardware do I need.. I'm guessing a RS485 to USB adapter from ebay?
