an other batch going out

so ramping up production has been slower then expected but we are getting there, we are producing a steady quantity daily. all the production related problems are being worked out. i am training a new employee and she is picking things up pretty good.
there is an other problem coming up, the last revision i made included the addition of pin headers ( http://www.robotshop.com/Images/big/en/sfe-straight-pin-headers.jpg ) and we don't have many more. we send someone to look for them in managua hitting up every electronic store without luck. so if we can find them it will halt production for maybe 3 weeks.  i am gonna try the black market in managua, its lots of fun going there btw ( http://qnicaragua.com/2013/01/09/mercado-oriental-managua/ )

20% of the people that answered the last survey on weather or not to only accept bitcoins in the feature answered positive....very encouraging and if it was only up to me i would say fuck it; only bitcons.....maybe if it gets up to 50% i could convince my partners to go for it. it would reduce product price by around 10% between fees, extra work, fraud risk and of course the bullshit with the banks....

jeff (jeffniccca at gmail dot com ) is checking peoples address and getting the complicated orders sorted out like the once that wanted more then one unit and such, and it turns out we have backers from all over the world including really obscure places like a french island in the middle of the indian ocean....

sorry for not posting more often but i am really busy getting this project of the ground, it has been a 12h a day trip without breaks for months for months now

I don't know about everyone else, but I personally wouldn't mind if you waited to ship out each batch on Friday. Driving 2h each day to the post office seems like 2h each day you could be making a few extra boards/relaxing!

Agreed, I don't think any will mind, 2 hours a day is a lot of lost time not to mention the risk involved in the travel. Personally I would not have you traveling that much, send someone else.

toonen.meine: no there is no difference between red and green boards, just ran out of green solder mask paint...red looks nicer too i think

don't worry we won't spent 4h (2h one way) a day to run to matagalpa to ship, that would just be impractical and i rather spend time making more units . my plan is to set up a courier or something similar to send them daily to matagalpa...eventually we have to ship daily
