As you may know, the White House recently launched
WeThePeople, a new e-petition tool with the potential to serve as a significant and meaningful channel for the public to influence national policy.
AmericaSpeaks, the International Association for Public Participation--USA, National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation, and Deliberative Democracy Consortium are organizing a collective response from the American participation and deliberative democracy communities to offer guidance to administration officials on how it can be made as strong as possible. Please join the effort!
Check out the
e-petition platform if you haven't yet done so, then offer your ideas about how it can be improved here:
http://wethepeople.uservoice.com
We'll deliver the collective priorities that emerge from this process to the White House.
Apologies for cross-posting. Thanks!
