Hi everyone, welcome to the OG G-Group. Proud to be an open-source
project, community input welcome, contributing code and data back to
the public commons, with the aim of building transparency and civic
engagement at all levels of government (state, local, and more).

Here are some initial links by way of OpenGovernment (hereafter OG)
background, overview, and contact information ::

OG mission statement ::

The OG development roadmap will be available here on our Lighthouse
project management page ::

... you can view open tickets and projects using the links in the
right-hand sidebar without signing up, or you can submit new issues
and edit project pages yourself by creating a free account. Please
assign new tickets to me (Lighthouse user name: drm) and I'll review
them and reassign them appropriately. There's a lot to do, and our
resources are limited.

To get in touch with our dev team ::

IRC: chat.freenode.net channel #opengovernment

AIM / Jabber / Skype :: davidmooreppf

email: david at ppolitics dot org. That'll work.

... currently OG evelopment is being led by Carl Tashian, PPF's
Director of Technology, and Srini Aki, Software Engineer.

More to come here, looking forward to collaborative development of
some amazing & powerful new tools. Questions & feedback welcome
anytime.

Thanks,
-David
