Tufts University and The Open Geoportal (OGP) community have developed a series of dashboard components as part of its suite of tools. The Dashboards provide interactive analytics to help curators better understand federated or single collection composition (data types, data licensing, thematic and geographic coverage, content dates, etc.) as well as significant data on collection usage (searching, viewing, downloading, etc.). The uses go far beyond geospatial data as we’ve been using these new tools for several data mining projects regarding university teaching and research.
